Week of 1/25/16 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio.

Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 1/25/2016 to 2/1/2016:

 

1/27/2016 - Jennifer Lynn Phillips, 32 year old female from Rittman - Case No. 2015 CRC-I 000292

Convicted of Tampering With Evidence, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.12(A)(1) and 2 additional counts. Sentenced

by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 180 days, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 3 years and a driver's

license suspension for 6 months. The judge ordered: compliance with children services case plan

cannot possess pseudomental health screening. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 80 Hours; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Intensive Supervision Program; Complete Program at Community Based Correctional Facility (4 - 6 months): SRCCC; PRC Notification Given; Wayne County Jail: Serve 180 Days.

 

1/27/2016 - Andrew Robert Moore, 30 year old male from Rittman - Case No. 2015 CRC-I 000230

Convicted of Attempted Illegal Assembly or Possession Of Chemicals for the Manufacture of Drugs, F4, in violation of Ohio

Revised Code 2923.02 / 2925.041(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 6 months and a driver's

license suspension for 6 months. The judge ordered: credit time served. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: PRC

Notification Given.

 

1/27/2016 - Brian Dale Chenevert, 32 year old male from WOOSTER - Case No. 2015 CRC-I 000162

Convicted of Burglary, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.12(A)(3) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey

E. Spitler.

 

1/27/2016 - Rashawn E. Phillips, 20 year old male from MASSILLON - Case No. 2015 CRC-I 000103

Convicted of Possession of Cocaine, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to:

Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years and a driver's license suspension for 6 months. Additionally the following

conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of

Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 100 Hours; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation

Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment.

 

1/27/2016 - Theodore Allen Alleman, 26 year old male from Wooster - Case No. 2015 CRC-I 000210

1/27/2016 - Bryan Nicholas Peck, 25 year old male from ORRVILLE - Case No. 2015 CRC-I 000247

Convicted of Trafficking in Heroin, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.03(A)(1) and 2 additional counts. Sentenced by

Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 90 days. The judge ordered: Report to jail Monday morning (02/01/2016)

Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.
