Week of 2/22/16 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio.  Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 2/22/2016 to 2/29/2016:

 

2/22/2016 – Jerre  Allen Finley, 29 year old male from WEST SALEM - Case No. 2015 CRC-I 000153

Convicted of Rape, F1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2907.02(A)(1)(a). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 7 years and Post Release Control in the amount of 5 years. The judge ordered: Tier 3 Sex Offender Registration

 

2/23/2016 - Blake E. Rowe, 38 year old male from Doylestown - Case No. 2015 CRC-I 000199

Convicted of Possession of Cocaine, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to:  Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years and a driver's license suspension for 6 months. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 100 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain GED or High School Diploma.

 

2/24/2016 - Isiash A. Todd, 30 year old male from Wooster - Case No. 2015 CRC-I 000311

Convicted of Failure to Comply with an Order or Signal of a Police Officer, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.331(B) and 4 additional counts. Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 2 years, 90 days.

 

2/24/2016 - Azell Isiash Todd, 30 year old male from WOOSTER - Case No. 2015 CRC-I 000280

Convicted of Harassment with a Bodily Substance, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.38(B). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 1 year.

 

2/24/2016 - Lacy Dawn Bentley, 23 year old female from Big Prairie - Case No. 2014 CRC-I 000358 – Probation Violation Sentence

Convicted of Possession of Cocaine, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to the following conditions: Community control continued.  Reside at Salvation Army. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Participate in Drug Court; Participate in Day Reporting Program.

 

2/24/2016 - Lacy Dawn Bentley, 24 year old female from Big Prairie - Case No. 2014 CRC-I 000393 – Probation Violation Sentence

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to the following conditions: Community control continued.  Reside at Salvation Army. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Participate in Drug Court; Participate in Day Reporting Program.

 

2/24/2016 - Talisha M. Delisle, 34 year old female from Wooster - Case No. 0170-13-CR - Probation Violation Sentence

Convicted of Possession of Cocaine, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to the following conditions: Community control continued and extended one year. Additionally the following conditions were imposed:  Complete Residential Drug/Alcohol Treatment at Beacon House.
