Week of 4/10/17 Misdemeanor Convictions:

The Wayne County Municipal Court has jurisdiction over misdemeanor level offenses. The following are the criminal case convictions (not including traffic offenses) for 4/10/2017 to 4/17/2017:

 

4/13/2017 - Michael Angel, 37 year old male from WOOSTER - Case No. 2016 CR-B 001893

Convicted of Violating a Protection Order, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.27(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 160 days and a fine of $350.00. The judge ordered: Defendant's sentence shall be stayed on the condition there are no further violations of the CPO (violations arising from complaints filed after today's date) for a period of two years from April 6, 2017.

 

4/10/2017 - Randy Edmiston, 24 year old male from WOOSTER - Case No. 2017 CR-B 000280

Convicted of Obstructing Official Business, M2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.31(A). Sentenced by Judge Carol Millhoan to: a fine of $350.00. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

4/10/2017 - George Joe Fisher, 64 year old male from MANSFIELD - Case No. 2017 CR-B 000659

Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(B)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a fine of $75.00. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

4/11/2017 - Abigail Rose Barnes, 19 year old female from WOOSTER - Case No. 2017 CR-B 000010

Convicted of Assault, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2903.13(A). Sentenced by Judge Carol Millhoan to: a term of incarceration of 30 days and a fine of $400.00. The judge ordered: No contact order remains in effect.  Successfully complete cognitive behavior therapy program at the discretion of the po dept.
