Week of 4/30/18 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 4/30/2018 to 5/7/2018:

 

5/1/2018 - James Klingler, 32 year old male from Wooster - Case No. 2017 CRC-I 000351

Convicted of Aggravated Assault, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2903.12(A)(2). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 30 days and Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 50 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Electronic Home Monitoring: 30 days of Home Arrest if approved.

 

5/2/2018 - Sarah Milam, 37 year old female from Wooster - Case No. 2017 CRC-I 000384

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Fentanyl), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to the following conditions: Court costs waived.  No pseudoephedrine purchases. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 60 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Intensive Supervision Program; Complete Residential Drug/Alcohol Treatment at Beacon House; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group.

 

5/2/2018 - Sarah Rebecha Milam, 37 year old female from Orrville - Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000059

Convicted of Possession of Heroin, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 90 days and Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. The judge ordered: Court costs waived.  No pseudoephedrine purchases.
