Week of 5/08/17 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio.

Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 5/8/2017 to 5/15/2017:

 

5/10/2017 - Paul Horner, 49 year old male from Wooster - Case No. 2017 CRC-I 000101

Convicted of Breaking and Entering, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.13(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 6 months. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Restitution: $137 to Murr Printing.

 

5/10/2017 - Jyrone Tucker, 44 year old male from Wooster - Case No. 2017 CRC-I 000009

Convicted of Possession of Cocaine, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to:  Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 50 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Intensive Supervision Program.

 

5/10/2017 - Duane Anthony Pugh, 36 year old male from Wooster - Case No. 2017 CRC-I 000020

Convicted of Failure to Verify Address, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2950.06(F). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 90 days. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Wayne County Jail: Serve 90 Days.

 

5/10/2017 - Ahmed Nashadean Palmer, 32 year old male from Mansfield - Case No. 2016 CRC-I 000284

Convicted of Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months and Post Release Control in the amount of 3 years. The judge ordered: Credit for 12 days served; 6 months prison sentence.

 

5/10/2017 - Dakota Moore, 29 year old male from Wooster - Case No. 2017 CRC-I 000003

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months and Post Release Control in the amount of 3 years.

 

5/10/2017 - David Allen Boyd, 31 year old male from WOOSTER - Case No. 2016 CRC-I 000265

Convicted of Aggravated Arson, F2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2909.02(A)(2). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 8 years and Post Release Control in the amount of 3 years. The judge ordered: Credit for 132 days.  Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Restitution: $461.78.

 

5/10/2017 - Keelee Michelle Grismer, 29 year old female from Rittman - Case No. 2016 CRC-I 000396

Convicted of Forgery, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.31(A)(3) and 2 additional counts. Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. The judge ordered: Concurrent with 2017 CRC-I 000067. Complete basic supervision program.
