Week of 6/11/18 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio.  Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 6/11/2018 to 6/18/2018:

 

6/12/2018 - Jesse Siedel, 32 year old male from Wooster - Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000002

Convicted of Burglary, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.12(A)(3). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 3 years. The judge ordered: 167 days credit for jail time served.  Court costs waived. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: PRC Notification Given.

 

6/12/2018 - Jesse Siedel, 32 year old male from Wooster - Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000244

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 167 days. The judge ordered: Credit for 167 days jail time served.  Court costs waived.

 

6/13/2018 - Kevin Anthony Jackson, 41 year old male from Wooster - Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000074

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of (with 1 year suspended) and Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 80 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol /Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment.

 

6/13/2018 - Jami Ramsier, 25 year old female from Wooster - Case No. 2017 CRC-I 000058

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count.  Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of (with 1 year suspended) and Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year, 6 months. The judge ordered: Defendant to be held in custody pending admission to Beacon House. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Complete Residential Drug/Alcohol Treatment at Beacon House; Participate in Drug Court.

 

6/13/2018 - Dominic Sacco, 42 year old male from WOOSTER - Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000133

Convicted of Domestic Violence, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.25(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 1 year, 6 months and Post Release Control in the amount of 3 years. The judge ordered: Court costs waived.  Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

6/13/2018 - Jason Robert Gibson, 20 year old male from Warsaw - Case No. 2017 CRC-I 000428

Convicted of Breaking and Entering, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.13(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 1 year, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years and Post Release Control in the amount of 3 years. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Pay Restitution: 600.00.; Random Drug Testing.

 

6/13/2018 - Robert Hooser, 39 year old male from Creston - Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000082

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years, Post Release Control in the amount of 3 years and a driver's license suspension for 3 years. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Perform Community Service: 150 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Participate in Cognitive Behaviorial Group.
