Week of 6/6/16 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio.

Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 6/6/2016 to 6/13/2016:

 

6/8/2016 - Adam Elkins, 18 year old male from Wooster - Case No. 0372-13-CR - Judicial Release Sentence

Convicted of Robbery, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.02(A)(3). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community

Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees;

Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: Previously

Uncompleted Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain

/ Maintain Gainful Employment; Intensive Supervision Program; Participate in Drug Court; Participate in Cognitive Behaviorial

Group.

 

6/7/2016 - Craig Allen Watkins, 49 year old male from WOOSTER - Case No. 2016 CRC-I 000118

Convicted of Aggravated Menacing, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2903.21(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a

term of incarceration of 51 days.

 

6/8/2016 - Dennis L. Breese, 53 year old male from Wooster - Case No. 2016 CRC-I 000033

Convicted of Attempted Illegal Assembly or Possession Of Chemicals for the Manufacture of Drugs, F4, in violation of Ohio

Revised Code 2923.02 / 2925.041(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 16 days and Community

Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year. The judge ordered: Maintain Medications.   Additionally the following conditions were

imposed: Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health

Counseling as Directed by Probation Department.

 

6/8/2016 - Marissa Amori Flewellen, 19 year old female from Wooster - Case No. 2015 CRC-I 000328

Convicted of Possession of Heroin, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to:

Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years and a driver's license suspension for 6 months. Additionally the following

conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of

Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 50 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as

Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Obtain GED or High School Diploma; Intensive

Supervision Program; Participate in Cognitive Behaviorial Group; Participate in Day Reporting Program.
