Week of 7/11//16 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio.  Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 7/11/2016 to 7/18/2016:

                                                      

7/12/2016 - Vincent L. Hess, 52 year old male from Brewster - Case No. 2016 CRC-I 000175

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a fine of $100.00.

 

7/13/2016 - Michael T. Sisouphanh, 25 year old male from AKRON - Case No. 2015 CRC-I 000317

Convicted of Grand Theft, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years and a fine of $500.00. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 60 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Intensive Supervision Program; Participate in Cognitive Behaviorial Group.

 

7/13/2016 - Jeffrey A. Huffman, 39 year old male from Akron - Case No. 2016 CRC-I 000123

Convicted of Illegal Manufacture of Drugs, F2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.04(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 2 years and a driver's license suspension for 6 months.

 

7/13/2016 - Tontre Jashon Simpson, 22 year old male from Wooster - Case No. 2016 CRC-I 000089 - Probation Violation Sentence

Convicted of Burglary, F2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.12(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 3 years. The judge ordered: Court costs waived.  Credit for 116 days jail time served. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: PRC Notification Given.

 

 

7/13/2016 - Theodore Allen Alleman, 26 year old male from Wooster - Case No. 2015 CRC-I 000210 - Probation Violation Sentence

Convicted of Possession of Heroin, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to the following conditions: Community control continued. $100 financial sanction payable within 30 days.

 

 

7/13/2016 - Nicholas Wayne Gentry, 24 year old male from Wooster - Case No. 2015 CRC-I 000055 - Probation Violation Sentence

Convicted of Possession of Heroin, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 1 year. The judge ordered: Sentences in Case Nos. 2015 CRC-I 000227 and 2015 CRC-I 000055 shall run consecutively.

Convicted of Possession of Heroin, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 1 year. The judge ordered: Sentences in Case Nos. 2015 CRC-I 000227 and 2015 CRC-I 000055 shall run consecutively.

 

7/13/2016 - Jesse J. Siedel, 28 year old male from Wooster - Case No. 0365-13-CR - Probation Violation Sentence

Convicted of Aggravated Trafficking, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.03(A)(1) and 2 additional counts. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to the following conditions: Complete New Destiny treatment program.

 

7/13/2016 - Jesse J. Siedel, 26 year old male from Wooster - Case No. 0132-12-CR - Probation Violation Sentence

Convicted of Attempted Aggravated Trafficking, F5, 2923.02 / 2925.03(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to the following conditions: Complete New Destiny treatment program.

 

7/13/2016 - Darrion Haid, 18 year old male from Wooster - Case No. 0374-13-CR - Probation Violation Sentence

Convicted of Robbery, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.02(A)(3). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to the following conditions: Community control continued and extended one year. Complete CADET program in Wayne County Jail. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Wayne County Jail: Serve 90 Days; Participate in Day Reporting Program.
