Brittany Durieux - Assistant Prosecuting Attorney

Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Brittany Durieux joined the Wayne County Prosecutor team in July of 2018. Brittany specializes in Domestic Violence prosecution and, therefore, works both in the Misdemeanor Division and the Felony Division. Brittany received her bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Taylor University in 2012, and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Akron School of Law. She was admitted to the Ohio Bar in November of 2017. Prior to joining Wayne County, Brittany was in private practice, focusing on criminal and family law. During her time in law school, Brittany was an intern for the Summit County Prosecutor’s Office and clerked for an Akron Municipal Court judge.
