Chris Mastran - Assistant Prosecuting Attorney & Juvenile Division Supervisor

Chris Mastran graduated from the University of Akron School of Law in 1995 and started her career in child welfare in 2000 as counsel for the Stark County Department of Job and Family Services.  As an Assistant Prosecutor she represented Summit County Children Services for over seventeen years.  Attorney Mastran was the Supervisor of the Child Protection Unit of the Juvenile Division for nearly a decade and helped to train not only newer attorneys in the office, but also case workers, witnesses and colleagues.  Most recently she worked as Legal Counsel for Summit County Children Services where she drafted motions and complaints and met regularly with case workers, supervisors and administrators to problem-solve and plan for court hearings.   She is committed to the overall goal of helping children and families who are suffering or who need the guidance and support that the civil court process provides.
