A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 2/8/2021 to 2/15/2021:

 

2/9/2021 – Mitchell E. Cecil, 25-year-old male from Wooster – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000284

Convicted of Aggravated Vehicular Homicide, F2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2903.06(A)(1)(a). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 2 years and a driver’s license suspension for 100 years. The judge ordered: lifetime suspension of driving license. 2-3-year sentence under RT

 

2/9/2021 – Latetia Booher, 28-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000153

Convicted of Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.03(B). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 10 days. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

2/10/2021 – Ted Bess, 44-year-old male from Wooster – Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000750

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 35 days. The judge ordered: Credit for time served, costs waived.

 

2/10/2021 – Braydon Yoder, 18 year old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000504

Convicted of Unlawful Possession of Dangerous Ordnance, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2923.17(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 80 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Forfeiture of sawed off shotgun.; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group.

 

2/10/2021 – Joshua English, 33-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000437

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.

2/10/2021 – Christopher Starner, 44-year-old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000139

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years, 6 months. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Intensive Supervision Program; Participate in Cognitive Behaviorial Group.

 

2/10/2021 – Joshua English, 33-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000329

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 2 years, 6 months and a driver’s license suspension for 1 year.

 

2/10/2021 – Joshua English, 32-year-old male from Wooster – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000257

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and 2 additional counts. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months and a driver’s license suspension for 5 years.
