Week of 2/15/21 Criminal Felony Convictions::

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 2/15/2021 to 2/22/2021:

 

2/16/2021 – Roxann Matter, 36-year-old female from POLK – Case No. 2019 CRC-I 000380

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 2 years and Post Release Control in the amount of 3 years. The judge ordered: 2-3 RT sentence 3 year mandatory PRC

 

2/17/2021 – Mason Duncan, 19-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000601

Convicted of Domestic Violence, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.25(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. The judge ordered: Defendant to be held until a bed is available ate SRCCC. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed byProbation Department; Complete Program at Community Based Correctional Facility (4 – 6 months): SRCCC.

 

2/18/2021 – Larry Lee Bower, 48-year-old male from Wooster – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000295

Convicted of Illegal Use or Possession of Marihuana Drug Paraphernalia, MM, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.141(C). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a fine of $150.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs /Probation Fees.
