Week of 3/29/21 Criminal Felony Convictions::

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 3/29/2021 to 4/5/2021:

 

3/31/2021 – David Myers, 23-year-old male from Holmesville – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000491

Convicted of Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. The judge ordered: Write letter of apology. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Intensive Supervision Program; Complete Program at Community Based Correctional Facility (4 – 6 months): SRCCC; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group.
