Week of 5/31/2021 Criminal Felony Convictions::

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 5/31/2021 to 6/7/2021:

 

6/1/2021 – Amere Robinson, 21-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000387

Convicted of Felonious Assault, F2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2903.11(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years and Post Release Control in the amount of 3 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Random Drug Testing; No Contact with Lewis Walters; Intensive Supervision Program.

 

6/2/2021 – Misty Rose Archer, 22-year-old female from Wooster – Case No. 2019 CRC-I 000542

Convicted of Failure to Comply with an Order or Signal of a Police Officer, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.331(B) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 2 years, Post Release Control in the amount of 3 years, a fine of $375.00 and a driver’s license suspension for 3 years.

 

6/2/2021 – Danny Persinger, 50-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000112

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 3 years. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Intensive Supervision Program; Complete Program at Community Based Correctional Facility (4 – 6 months): SRCCC; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group.

 

6/2/2021 – Kayleigh Sheedy, 27-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000067

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a fine of $200.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

6/3/2021 – Carl Baer, 67-year-old male from Wooster – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000050

Convicted of Domestic Violence, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.25(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Perform Community Service: 450 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as directed by Probation Department.
