The Wayne County Prosecuting Attorney is seeking a full-time criminal chief assistant prosecuting attorney. Primary duties will involve prosecuting serious felony cases in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court and supervising both the felony and misdemeanor divisions of the Wayne County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary for the good of the office by the Prosecuting Attorney.
Requirements for the position include being licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio, good communication and interpersonal skills, a strong sense of professional behavior, impeccable integrity, an ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, and a minimum of eight (8) years felony litigation experience. Supervising experience is preferred but not mandatory. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
