Week of 6/21/2021 Criminal Felony Convictions::

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 6/21/2021 to 6/28/2021:

 

6/24/2021 – Nicholas Baker, 24-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000072

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 50 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Obtain GED or High School Diploma; Intensive Supervision Program; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group.

 

6/23/2021 – Larry Dale Baker, 51-year-old male from Creston – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000030

Convicted of Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.

 

6/23/2021 – Sharon Arnold, 22-year-old female from Wooster – Case No. 2019 CRC-I 000500

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. The judge ordered: Complete program at Red Zone in Youngstown, Ohio Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 50 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department.
