Week of 7/26/21 Misdemeanor Convictions::

The Wayne County Municipal Court has jurisdiction over misdemeanor level offenses. The following are the criminal case convictions (not including traffic offenses) for 7/26/2021 to 8/2/2021:

 

7/26/2021 – Brett Michael Adkins, 28-year-old male from MILLERSBURG – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000084

Convicted of Criminal Trespass, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.21(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R.VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 28 days and a fine of $200.00.

 

7/26/2021 – Dru Robinson, 39-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000097

Convicted of Obstructing Official Business, M2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.31(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 30 days and a fine of $200.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

7/26/2021 – Justin Sommers, 41-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000539

Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(B)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 25 days and a fine of $100.00.

 

7/26/2021 – Justin Richard Sommers, 41-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000638

Convicted of Criminal Trespass, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.21(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 25 days and a fine of $100.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

7/26/2021 – Cortney M. English, 32-year-old female from Wooster – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000723

Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, MM, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(A)(2). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett.

 

7/27/2021 – Brandon Patterson, 27-year-old male from AKRON – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000749

Convicted of Roadways and Paths Violations, M4, in violation of Wooster Codified Ordinance 0539.15(A). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a fine of $150.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

7/27/2021 – Lauren Alice Grizzel, 32-year-old female from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000482

Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 30 days, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $250.00. The judge ordered: 30 days jail can be served by home arrest if she qualifies, which is unlikely b/c still being held on bond for felony charges. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow

Directions of Probation Officer.

 

7/27/2021 – Brandon Charles Lindahl, 28-year-old male from APPLE CREEK – Case No. 2020 CR-B 000549

Convicted of Assault, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2903.13(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs /Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 100 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Electronic Home Monitoring: 30 days; Counseling: anger management.

 

7/29/2021 – Henry L. Taylor, 55-year-old male from RITTMAN – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000321

Convicted of Domestic Violence, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.25(A). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a term of incarceration of 60 days, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $500.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Electronic Home Monitoring: 60 days.

 

7/30/2021 – Richard Wilson Chenevey, 37-year-old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000777

Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(A)(2). Sentenced to: a fine of $150.00.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.
