Week of 8/16/21 Misdemeanor Convictions::

The Wayne County Municipal Court has jurisdiction over misdemeanor level offenses. The following are the criminal case convictions (not including traffic offenses) for 8/16/2021 to 8/23/2021:

 

8/16/2021 – Robert Willard Crawford, 70-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000691

Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 6 months and a fine of $100.00.

 

8/16/2021 – George Heilman, 56-year-old male from FREDERICKSBURG – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000445

Convicted of Using Weapons While Intoxicated, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2923.15(A). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 6 months and a fine of $500.00.

 

8/17/2021 – Cody Allen Fast, 30-year-old male from RITTMAN – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000480

Convicted of Domestic Violence, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.25(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $400.00. The judge ordered: 4 days’ incarceration, 4 days credit.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Evaluation: MH & drug/alcohol evaluation; Counseling: Batterer’s intervention program.

 

8/17/2021 – Andre Hibbert, 33-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2018 CR-B 001356

Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a fine of $500.00. The judge ordered: If V doesn’t claim the restitution in 1 year from Clerk, money will be sent to state unclaimed funds. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Pay Restitution: $55.00.

 

8/17/2021 – Jonathan Keathley, 39-year-old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000446

Convicted of Assault, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2903.13(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 15 days (with 105 days suspended) and a fine of $500.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Electronic Home Monitoring: 60 of the 75 days incarceration are by home arrest; Counseling: w/ Anazao has already begun.

 

8/18/2021 – James Eugene Hostetler, 44-year-old male from WEST SALEM – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000669

Convicted of Aggravated Trespass, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.211(A). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a term of incarceration of 120 days and a fine of $200.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs /Probation Fees.

 

8/18/2021 – Benjamin Gunn, 36-year-old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000781

Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, MM, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(B)(1). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a fine of $150.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

8/18/2021 – Jeremy Schrock, male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000710

Convicted of Falsification, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.13(A)(3) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year, 6 months and a fine of $500.00.

 

8/20/2021 – Tyler James Matter, 18-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2020 CR-B 000935

Convicted of Unlawful Sexual Conduct with A Minor, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2907.04(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 3 years and a fine of $500.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 100 Hours; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Screening: Sex offender assessment; Counseling: follow all recommendations re: sex offender assessment.
