Week of 12/27/21 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 12/27/2021 to 1/3/2022:

 

12/29/2021 – Dakota D. Caetta, 19-year-old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000352

Convicted of Breaking and Entering, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.13(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of (with 1 year suspended) and Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 60 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Obtain GED or High School Diploma; Participate in Cognitive Behaviorial Group.

 

12/29/2021 – George Reed, 22-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000198

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to the following conditions: Credit for time served.
