Week of 1/10/22 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 1/10/2022 to 1/17/2022:

 

1/12/2022 – Sherilyn Miller, 28-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000492

Convicted of Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of (with 1 year suspended) and Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain GED or High School Diploma; Intensive Supervision Program; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral

Convicted of Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain GED or High School Diploma; Intensive Supervision Program; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group.

Spitler to: a term of incarceration of (with 1 year suspended) and Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. 1/12/2022 – Shaun Hall, 40-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000518

Convicted of Violating a Protection Order, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.27(A)(1) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 2 years, 6 months and Post Release Control in the amount of 2 years.

1/13/2022 – Kyle Eugene Miller, 28-year-old male from APPLE CREEK – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000189

Convicted of Domestic Violence, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.25(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest.
