The Wayne County Municipal Court has jurisdiction over misdemeanor level offenses. The following are the

criminal case convictions (not including traffic offenses) for 2/14/2022 to 2/21/2022:

 

2/14/2022 – John V. Mendias, 38-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CR-B 001214

Convicted of Violating a Protection Order, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.27(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 90 days, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 3 years and a fine of $500.00. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; No Contact with Diana Mendias.

 

2/14/2022 – Charles Steven Horn, 29-year-old male from LAKEVILLE – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000988

Convicted of Criminal Damaging or Endangering, M2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2909.06(A)(1) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $300.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Pay Restitution: 1600.99.

 

2/14/2022 – Walter Pleban, 47-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CR-B 001408

Convicted of Illegal Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.14(C)(1). Sentenced, by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $200.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Screening: random drug screens.

 

2/14/2022 – Mark Shamp, 32-year-old male from SHREVE – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000141

Convicted of Criminal Trespass, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.21(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a fine of $150.00.

 

2/15/2022 – Tyler Kinney, 28-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000124

Convicted of Illegal Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.14(C)(1) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a fine of $200.00.

 

2/15/2022 – Rebbecca Soderston, 47-year-old female from CRESTON – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000078

Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $250.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Participate in Thinking for a Change Program.

 

2/15/2022 – Kimberly Hill, 45-year-old female from WEST SALEM – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000072

Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 30 days and a fine of $250.00. The judge ordered: stayed 14 days to screen for home arrest Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Participate in Thinking for a Change Program.

 

2/16/2022 – Shellie Mae Williams, 34-year-old female from WEST SALEM – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000743

Convicted of Criminal Damaging or Endangering, M2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2909.06(A)(1) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 60 years and a fine of $300.00.

 

2/15/2022 – Scott Jarvis, 35-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000960

Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 90 days and a fine of $500.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Restitution: 167.82.

 

2/15/2022 – Scott Christopher Jarvis, 35-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CR-B 001039

Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 90 days and a fine of $500.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Restitution: 52.16.

2/15/2022 – Quentin Hughes, 20-year-old male from CANTON – Case No. 2020 CR-B 000268

Convicted of Assault, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2903.13(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 90 days and a fine of $500.00.

 

2/17/2022 – Stacie Calhoun, 44-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CR-B 001485

Convicted of Illegal Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.14(C)(1). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $200.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain /Maintain Gainful Employment.

 

2/18/2022 – Sean Over, 18-year-old male from Millersburg – Case No. 2021 CR-B 001405

Convicted of Failure to Comply with an Order or Signal of a Police Officer, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.331(B). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 75 days, a fine of $500.00 and a driver’s license suspension for 1 year. 2/18/2022 – Lukas Winston Peeler, 24-year-old male from APPLE CREEK – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000702

Convicted of Unlawful Restraint, M3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2905.03(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $250.00. 2/18/2022 – Courtney Jones, 26-year-old female from MASSILLON – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000066

Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, MM, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(B)(2). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a fine of $100.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

2/18/2022 – Chavonie Fulton, 19-year-old female from MANSFIELD – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000666

Convicted of Criminal Damaging or Endangering, M2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2909.06(A)(1) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 6 months and a fine of $150.00. The judge ordered: Anger Management Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Restitution: $50 to Wooster Nail Salon.

 

2/18/2022 – Samuel C. McAfee, 26 year old male from HEATH – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000623

Convicted of Assault, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2903.13(A). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a term of incarceration of 150 days and a fine of $500.00.

 

2/18/2022 – Samuel C. McAfee, 26-year-old male from Heath – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000322

Convicted of Assault, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2903.13(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 78 days, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $500.00.
