Week of 3/21/22 Criminal Felony Convictions::

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 3/21/2022 to 3/28/2022:

 

3/22/2022 – Elias Lua Gudino, 56-year-old male from AKRON – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000187

Convicted of Aggravated Menacing, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2903.21(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 60 days and a fine of $1,000.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

3/23/2022 – Justin Brannan, 39-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000533

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest.

 

3/23/2022 – Stefon James Toney, 26-year-old male from Akron – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000322

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: PRC Notification Given.
