Week of 5/2/22 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 5/2/2022 to 5/9/2022:

5/3/2022 – Emma Long, 31-year-old female from RITTMAN – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000438

Convicted of Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 1 year.

5/3/2022 – Emma Roni Long, 32-year-old female from RITTMAN – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000182

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: PRC Notification Given.

5/4/2022 – Justin Adkins, 32-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000086

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 60 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Intensive Supervision Program; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group.

5/4/2022 – Justin Adkins, 32-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000140

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 60 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Intensive Supervision Program; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group.

5/4/2022 – Brandon James Hans, 23-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000307

Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1) and 2 additional counts. Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 180 days. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Pay Restitution: 224.93.

5/4/2022 – Trisha Jarvis, 33-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000428

Convicted of Trespass in a Habitation, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.12(B). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 10 days.

5/4/2022 – Dylan Allen Bond, 24-year-old male from MARSHALLVILLE – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000078

Convicted of Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 50 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group.

5/4/2022 – Justen Smith, 40-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000535

Convicted of Possession of Heroin, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.

5/4/2022 – Benjamin Allen Griffith, 33-year-old male from RITTMAN – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000382
