Week of 5/9/22 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 5/9/2022 to 5/16/2022:

5/10/2022 – Lee Hall, 40-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000463

Convicted of Gross Sexual Imposition, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2907.05(A)(4). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 5 years and Post Release Control in the amount of 5 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Sex Offender Registration: II; Appellate Rights Given.

5/10/2022 – Robert Canode, 51-year-old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000100

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a fine of $100.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

5/10/2022 – Melissa McLean, 35-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000420

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest.

5/11/2022 – Scott Andrew Davis, 42-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000084

Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a fine of $200.00.

5/11/2022 – Barbie Rood, 50-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000522

Convicted of Theft, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 90 days and Community Control sanctions in the amount of 5 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 100 Hours; Pay Restitution: $13,250.00.; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department.

5/11/2022 – Zakery L. Muller, 28-year-old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000507

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 50 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group.
