Week of 6/6/22 Misdemeanor Convictions:

The Wayne County Municipal Court has jurisdiction over misdemeanor level offenses. The following are the criminal case convictions (not including traffic offenses) for 6/6/2022 to 6/13/2022:

6/7/2022 – Joseph Creed Shaw, 33-year-old male from DOYLESTOWN – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000277

Convicted of Cruelty to Companion Animals, M2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 0959.131(D)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $250.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 25 Hours.

6/7/2022 – Christopher L. Weltmer, 38-year-old male from FREDERICKSBURG – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000300

Convicted of Domestic Violence, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.25(A) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle.

6/8/2022 – Jackie Trammell, 45-year-old female from WEST SALEM – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000656

Convicted of Illegal Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.14(C)(1) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year, 6 months and a fine of $200.00. The judge ordered: mental health assessment Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Screening: drug assessment.

6/9/2022 – Ruby Hernandez, 30-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000668

Convicted of Criminal Trespass, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.21(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 6 months.

6/10/2022 – Jordan West, 23-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000589

Convicted of Falsification, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.13(A)(3). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years and a fine of $500.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 100 Hours; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment.

6/10/2022 – Michael L. Leiby, 52-year-old male from RITTMAN – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000154

Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year.

6/10/2022 – Michael L. Leiby, 52-year-old male from RITTMAN – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000327

Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $350.00.

6/6/2022 – Shannon Cavanaugh, 43-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000397

Convicted of Criminal Trespass, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.21(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a fine of $100.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

6/6/2022 – Skyler Devore, 24-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000444

Convicted of Criminal Trespass, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.21(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $100.00. The judge ordered: Defendant shall obtain a mental health assessment and follow all recommendations. Defendant shall not use or possess alcohol. Defendant shall be subject to random drug screens. Defendant shall complete all substance abuse or other counseling as directed by his probation officer. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

6/6/2022 – Skyler Devore, 24-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000449

Convicted of Criminal Trespass, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.21(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R.
