Week of 7/25/22 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 7/25/2022 to 8/1/2022:

7/26/2022 – Erika Mann, 24-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000089

Convicted of Criminal Trespass, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.21(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

7/26/2022 – Bryan Dronebarger, 34-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000209

Convicted of Assault, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2903.13(A) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 6 months. The judge ordered: Costs Waived

7/26/2022 – Bryan Allen Dronebarger, 34-year-old male from SHREVE – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000412

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.

7/26/2022 – Bryan Dronebarger, 35-year-old male from MILLERBURG – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000189

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.

7/27/2022 – Travis Senecal, 31-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000172

Convicted of Improperly Handling Firearms In A Motor Vehicle, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2923.16(D)(2). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 60 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Electronic Home Monitoring: As directed by Probation; Counseling: Attend CBT group; Forfeiture of 9mm SCCY semiautomatic handgun, serial number 642673.

7/27/2022 – David Edward Smith, 45-year-old male from MILLERSBURG – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000102

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 1 year, 6 months. The judge ordered: Defendant will be subject to post release control for a period up to 3 years after his release from prison; that he will be supervised under R.C. 2967.28 by the Adult Parole Authority; and if he violates a condition of post release control, the Parole Board may impose a prison term as part the sentence of up to one half.
