Join a dedicated team of professionals doing justice every day in Wayne County! The Wayne County Prosecuting Attorney is seeking a full-time assistant prosecuting attorney. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Duties will primarily include prosecuting both misdemeanor and felony domestic violence cases in the Wayne County Municipal Court and the Wayne County Common Pleas Court.

Requirements for the position include: licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio, good communication and interpersonal skills to include, but not limited, to: the ability to empathize with domestic violence victims; the ability to think fast on one’s feet in trial; a strong sense of professional behavior; impeccable integrity; and an ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
