The Wayne County Municipal Court has jurisdiction over misdemeanor level offenses. The following are the criminal case convictions (not including traffic offenses) for 9/12/2022 to 9/19/2022:

9/12/2022 – Donald Brancheck, 48-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000928

Convicted of Unauthorized Use of Property, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.04(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a fine of $150.00.

9/12/2022 – Verna Kauffman, 40-year-old female from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000414

Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(A)(3). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $150.00. The judge ordered: Complete Anger Management Counseling. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department.
