Week of 9/26/22 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 9/26/2022 to 10/3/2022:

9/27/2022 – Gregory J. Boyd, 52-year-old male from AKRON – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000272

Convicted of Forgery, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.31(A)(3) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest.

9/28/2022 – Bryan Wayne Miller, 33-year-old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000269

Convicted of Breaking and Entering, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.13(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 1 year. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: PRC Notification Given.

9/28/2022 – Bryan Miller, 32-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000472

Convicted of Burglary, F2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.12(A)(2). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: PRC Notification Given.

9/27/2022 – Jacob R. Hershman, 34-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000046

Convicted of Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest.

9/28/2022 – Joshua Emanuel Rodriguez Viruet, 27-year-old male from Franklin – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000314

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest.

9/28/2022 – Ronnie R. Taylor, 27-year-old male from Cleveland – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000132

Convicted of Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year, 6 months. The judge ordered: Comply with PRC conditions. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 60 Hours; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Intensive Supervision Program; Participate in Cognitive

9/29/2022 – Connor Allen Spence, 19-year-old male from Wooster – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000241

Convicted of Obstructing Official Business, M2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.31(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a fine of $200.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.
