Week of 11/14/22 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 11/14/2022 to 11/21/2022:

11/16/2022 – Nicholas Knapik, 37-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000341

Convicted of Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 1 year. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: PRC Notification Given.

11/16/2022 – Nicholas Knapik, 36-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000363

Convicted of Possession of Heroin, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: PRC Notification Given.

11/16/2022 – Nicholas Knapik, 37-year-old male from Hubbard – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000389

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 1 year. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: PRC Notification Given.

11/16/2022 – Tristan Hartzler, 26-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000362

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 30 days.
