Week of 12/26/22 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 12/26/2022 to 1/2/2023:

12/27/2022 – Chad Trent, 43-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000003

Convicted of Theft, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. The judge ordered: Obey all local, state, and federal laws Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Intensive Supervision Program; Counseling: Complete substance abuse treatment and follow recommendations.

12/27/2022 – Chad Trent, 43-year-old male from Wooster – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000196

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Intensive Supervision Program.

12/27/2022 – Chad Eugene Trent, 43-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000234

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Intensive Supervision Program.
