The Wayne County Municipal Court has jurisdiction over misdemeanor level offenses. The following are the criminal case convictions (not including traffic offenses) for 2/13/2023 to 2/20/2023:

 

2/13/2023 – Russell Tittle, 57-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2023 CR-B 000179

Convicted of Criminal Trespass, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.21(A)(4). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a term of incarceration of 15 days and a fine of $150.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

2/13/2023 – Russell Tittle, 57-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2023 CR-B 000180

Convicted of Criminal Trespass, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.21(A)(3). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a term of incarceration of 15 days and a fine of $150.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

2/13/2023 – Travis Thornburg, 44-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001548

Convicted of Illegal Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.14(C)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a fine of $200.00.

 

2/13/2023 – Richard White, 44-year-old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000561

Convicted of Cruelty to Companion Animals, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 0959.131(B) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $250.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer.

 

2/13/2023 – Deborah Ann Hargrove-Franks, 71-year-old female from Wooster – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001427

Convicted of Failure to Confine or Restrain Dog, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 0955.22(D)(1) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 30 days and a fine of $300.00.

 

2/13/2023 – Jimmy Rouse, 46-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001608

Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $300.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed:  Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department.

 

2/13/2023 – Jerica Robison, 31-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001652

Convicted of Endangering Children, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.22(A). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a term of incarceration of 150 days, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years and a fine of $350.00. The judge ordered: Complete parenting case – no contact with listed children until completed and reviewed by court. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful

Employment.

 

2/14/2023 – Bryce Kristopher Schultz, 25-year-old male from WEST SALEM – Case No. 2023 CR-B 000163

Convicted of Illegal Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.14(C)(1). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a fine of $200.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

2/14/2023 – John Lyle Cochrane, 41-year-old male from Amherst – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001325

Convicted of Assault, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2903.13(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 180 days, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years and a fine of $150.00. The judge ordered: no same/similar offenses (alcohol) left conditions to probation Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by

2/16/2023 – Samuel Kisling, 27-year-old male from STAUNTON

Convicted of Obstructing Official Business, M2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.31(A). Sentenced to: a fine of $200.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

2/16/2023 – Jeremy Schrock, 30-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001409

Convicted of Falsification, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.13(A)(3). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a term of incarceration of 120 days and a fine of $200.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

2/16/2023 – Christopher Curtis, 41-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001601

Convicted of Criminal Mischief, M3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2909.07(A)(1)(a). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 6 months and a fine of $100.00.
