A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 3/6/2023 to 3/13/2023:

3/6/2023 – Nathaniel Johnson, 31-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000144 Convicted of Rape, F1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2907.02(A)(1)(b). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle.

3/6/2023 – Nathaniel Scott Johnson, 31-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000207 Convicted of Having Weapons While Under Disability, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2923.13(A)(2). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle.

3/7/2023 – Anthony Marks, 32-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000048 Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 50 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Intensive Supervision Program; Complete Program at Community Based Correctional Facility (4 – 6 months): SRCCC; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group; Participate in Day Reporting Program.

3/7/2023 – Anthony Marks, 33-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000284 Convicted of Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Intensive Supervision Program; Complete Program at Community Based Correctional Facility (4 – 6 months): SRCCC; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group; Participate in Day Reporting Program.

3/7/2023 – Neil Smith, 61-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000392 Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months. 3/7/2023 – Neil Smith, 61-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000321 Convicted of Burglary, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.12(A)(3) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 2 years.

3/7/2023 – Neil Smith, 60-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000348 Convicted of Breaking and Entering, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.13(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Restitution: $1539.21.

3/7/2023 – Neil Smith, 60-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000030 Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 1 year, 6 months.
3/7/2023 – Neil Smith, 60-year-old male from Wooster – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000488 Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.

3/7/2023 – Neil Smith, 61-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000344 Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.

3/8/2023 – Nathaniel Hutton, 30-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000279 Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and 2 additional counts. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 45 days and Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. 3/8/2023 – Joseph Sampsel, 38-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000387 Convicted of Burglary, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.12(A)(3). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of (with 3 years suspended) and Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Pay Restitution: $2920.21.; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; No Contact with victims; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Intensive Supervision Program; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group.

3/8/2023 – Brandon J. Milner, 32-year-old male from APPLE CREEK – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000034 Convicted of Trespass in a Habitation, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.12(B). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 90 days and Community Control sanctions in the amount of 3 years.

3/8/2023 – William Roe, 40-year-old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000065 Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 31 days.

3/8/2023 – Tyler Stephens, 30-year-old male from Youngstown – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000213 Convicted of Having Weapons While Under Disability, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2923.13(A)(3). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 2 years and Post Release Control in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Forfeiture of Taurus G2C handgun serial number ACC624465.

3/8/2023 – Tyler Stephens, 30-year-old male from Youngstown – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000238 Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.

3/8/2023 – Roger Lee Cole, 19-year-old male from AKRON – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000566 Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.
