Week of 3/20/23 Criminal Felony Convictions::

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 3/20/2023 to 3/27/2023:

3/21/2023 – Angie Marie Fuller, 32-year-old female from WADSWORTH – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000083 Convicted of Trespass in a Habitation, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.12(B). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.

3/21/2023 – Grady Perry, 41-year-old male from DALTON – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000396 Convicted of Theft, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle.

3/22/2023 – Scott Lipp, 34-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000337 Convicted of Having Weapons While Under Disability, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2923.13(A)(2) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of (with 3 years suspended) and Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 50 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Intensive Supervision Program; Forfeiture of firearm Smith & Wesson 9mm as stated in indictment; Participate in Cognitive Behaviorial Group.

3/22/2023 – Steven Miller, 41-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000418 Convicted of Trespass in a Habitation when a Person is Present or Likely to be Present, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.12(B). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 50 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Intensive Supervision Program; Complete Program at Community Based Correctional Facility (4 – 6 months): SRCCC; Participate in Cognitive Behaviorial Group.

3/22/2023 – Thomas Christopher Crawford, 36-year-old male from BIG PRAIRIE – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000291 Convicted of Breaking and Entering, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.13(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 1 year and Post Release Control in the amount of 2 years.

3/22/2023 – Thomas Crawford, 36-year-old male from BIG PRAIRIE – Case No. 2023 CRC-I 000029 Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 2 years and Post Release Control in the amount of 2 years.

3/22/2023 – Jeremiah Levi Johnson, 38-year-old male from West Salem – Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000073 Convicted of Endangering Children, F2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.22(B)(5) and 4 additional counts. Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 5 years.

3/23/2023 – Christopher Helmick, 18-year-old male from Rittman – Case No. 0188-97-CR Convicted of Corruption of a Minor, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2907.04(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 1 year, 5 months and Post Release Control in the amount of 5 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Sex Offender Registration: Sexually Oriented Offender must register annually for 10 years.
