Week of 3/20/23 Misdemeanor Convictions:

The Wayne County Municipal Court has jurisdiction over misdemeanor level offenses. The following are the criminal case convictions (not including traffic offenses) for 3/20/2023 to 3/27/2023:

3/20/2023 – Jessica Carozza, 33-year-old female from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001235 Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 6 months and a fine of $150.00.

3/20/2023 – Michael Paul Adams, 37-year-old male from RITTMAN – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001355 Convicted of Domestic Violence, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.25(C). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a term of incarceration of 15 days and a fine of $250.00.

3/21/2023 – Megan Carter, 30-year-old female from STERLING – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000370 Convicted of Unauthorized Use of Property, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.04(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 3 days.

3/21/2023 – Braxxton Yoder, 21-year-old male from NEW LONDON – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001362 Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, MM, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a fine of $75.00.

3/21/2023 – Carl Sturgill, 54-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CR-B 000924 Convicted of Vehicle Trespass, MM, in violation of Wooster Codified Ordinance 0303.12(a). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a fine of $100.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 3/21/2023 – Michael Duncan, 45-year-old male from AKRON – Case No. 2023 CR-B 000100 Convicted of Criminal Trespass, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.21(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; No Contact with Nicole Ross.

VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year. 3/21/2023 – Michael Duncan, 44-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000320 Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year. 3/21/2023 – Paige Phillips, 28-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000960 Convicted of Domestic Violence, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.25(A). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 30 days.

3/23/2023 – Isaac Sharp, 18-year-old male from AKRON – Case No. 2023 CR-B 000023 Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, MM, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(B)(1). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a fine of $35.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

3/23/2023 – Danielle Wheeler, 46-year-old female from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001109 Convicted of Obstructing Official Business, M2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.31(A). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a fine of $100.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

3/23/2023 – Carl Allan Dean, 65-year-old male from CRESTON – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000640 Convicted of Possession of Drugs, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a term of incarceration of 7 days, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $250.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department.

3/23/2023 – Daniel Edward Shattuck, 26-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2023 CR-B 000031 Convicted of Obstructing Official Business, M2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2921.31(A). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a term of incarceration of 30 days, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year, 6 months and a fine of $250.00. 3/23/2023 – William Roe, 42-year-old male from ORRVILLE – Case No. 2023 CR-B 000080 Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a fine of $200.00.

3/24/2023 – Jamie William Long, 40-year-old male from Shelby – Case No. 2022 CR-B 000080 Convicted of Criminal Damaging or Endangering, M2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2909.06(A)(1). Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle.

3/24/2023 – Christopher Michael Dickerson, 34-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2022 CR-B 001704 Convicted of Criminal Mischief, M3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2909.07(A)(1)(a). Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a term of incarceration of 30 days, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $150.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Pay Restitution: $210.; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Counseling: anger management.
