Wayne County Prosecuting Attorney Seeks Full-Time Assistant Prosecuting Attorney

The Wayne County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office is accepting applications for a full-time Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Criminal Division. Primary responsibilities will include representing the State in misdemeanor and/or felony criminal proceedings, and pursuing fair outcomes with integrity and professionalism. The successful candidate may also be assigned additional duties as needed within the Prosecutor’s Office.

Minimum Qualifications:

Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to think quickly and effectively in a courtroom setting.
• Demonstrated professionalism and ethical integrity.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced legal environment.

Compensation:
Compensation for this position will be between $61,000-$96,000/year, commensurate with experience and abilities, and will include full county benefits.
