Week of 5/24/21 Criminal Felony Convictions::

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 5/24/2021 to 5/31/2021:

 

5/25/2021 – Jason Williams, 44-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000036

Convicted of Criminal Simulation, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.32(A)(4). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a fine of $200.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

5/26/2021 – Luke David Rufener, 31-year-old male from RITTMAN – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000083

Convicted of Possessing Drug Abuse Instruments, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.12(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

5/27/2021 – Shamont Lumpkin, 42-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000117

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

 

5/27/2021 – Shamont Lumpkin, 42-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000575

Convicted of Forgery, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.31(A)(3). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Pay Restitution: $150.

 

5/27/2021 – Shamont Lumpkin, 41-year-old male from WOOSTER – Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000397

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months, 30 days. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.
