David Smith – Assistant Prosecuting Attorney
David Smith joined the Wayne County Prosecutor team in July of 2024. He is assigned to the Misdemeanor Division and prosecutes traffic and misdemeanor cases in the Wayne County Municipal Court. David graduated from Ohio University and attended the University of Akron School ofl Law. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1997 and the Northern District of Ohio Bar in 1998. Dave has previously worked as a Wayne County Assistant Public Defender and a part-time municipal assistant law director as well as being in private practice.
