Joseph Salzgeber – Assistant Prosecuting Attorney
Joseph Salzgeber joined the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office in March 2025. Joseph serves in the Felony Division where he prosecutes felony offenses in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court. He previously served as an Assistant Prosecutor in Medina County for 7 years. Joseph was in private law practice for 21 years, handling appellate, civil, criminal, and federal bankruptcy cases. Joseph received his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Indiana University in 1991, and his Juris Doctor Degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1994. He has argued cases before the Ohio Supreme Court and before six of the twelve Ohio District Courts of Appeals.
