Convictions in Common Pleas Court for Week of December 17, 2012

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. The Common Pleas Court has jurisdiction over felony-level offenses that take place in Wayne County.Below are the convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for the week of December 17, 2012: 

Misty Haught – 12-CR-0307 – Attempted Possession of Heroin (M1).  Sentenced by Judge Wiest.  Sentenced - $500 fine.  6 month Driver’s License suspension

Herbert E Gillings – 12-CR-0334 – Burglary (F3).  Sentenced by Judge Weist.  Sentenced to 30 months, court costs waived.

Stacy M Stambaugh – 11-CR-0244 – Illegal Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M4).  Sentenced by Judge Wiest.  $100.00 fine and court costs.

Jeffrey C Shane – 12-CR-0289 – Forgery (F5) and Aggravated Possession (F5).   Sentenced by Judge Spitler to 12 months on count 1 – suspended.  2 years community control.  Defendant granted judicial release in Case No. 10-CR-0356, under same conditions.  Intensive Supervision Program and Re-entry Court.  Count 2 – 6 month Driver’s license suspension, 12 months (suspended) and 2 years Community control.

Heather A Hursky – 11-CR-0075  – Drug Possession (F5).  Sentenced by Judge Spitler.  Sentenced to 30 days, 6 months Driver’s License suspension and Intervention in lieu of conviction that was granted on 11.9.11 was revoked.
