Criminal Felony Convictions in the Wayne County, Ohio Common Pleas Court for Week of June 17, 2013

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio. Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for the week of June 17, 2013:

6/18/2013 - Dustin R. Lewis, 23 year old male from Rittman - Case No. 0392-12-CR
     Convicted of Receiving Stolen Property, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.51(A).  Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 3 months (with 1 year, 3 months suspended) and Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years.  The judge ordered: 90 days in Wayne County Jail. Obtain and maintain gainful employment.  Additionally the following conditions were imposed: GED: Obtain during supervision period; Community Service in the amount of 100 hours; Counseling: Drug/alcohol counseling as directed by probation department; Court costs; Screening: Random drug testing.

6/18/2013 - Dustin R. Lewis, 23 year old male from Rittman - Case No. 0429-12-CR
     Convicted of Assault, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2903.13(A).  Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years.  The judge ordered: 90 days in Wayne County Jail.
Obtain and maintain gainful employment.  Additionally the following conditions were imposed: GED: Obtain during supervision term; Counseling: Drug/alcohol counseling as directed by probation department; Restitution in the amount of $1050 to Chase Boyd; Court costs; Screening: Random drug testing.
