A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio.  Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 11/23/2020 to 11/30/2020:

 

11/25/2020 - Dana Dennison, 36-year-old female from Orrville - Case No. 2019 CRC-I 000421

Convicted of Theft, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(3) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 50 Hours; Pay Restitution: 5,088.00.; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department.

 

11/25/2020 - Brian Jordan, 41-year-old male from WOOSTER - Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000360

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department.
