Week of 1/6/20 Misdemeanor Convictions:

The Wayne County Municipal Court has jurisdiction over misdemeanor level offenses.  The following are the criminal case convictions (not including traffic offenses) for 1/6/2020 to 1/13/2020:

1/6/2020 - Samantha Rae Flood, 20-year-old female from Quaker City - Case No. 2019 CR-B 001328     Convicted of Failure to Comply with Underage Alcohol Laws, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 4301.69(E)(1).  Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $150.00.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 40 Hours; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department.

1/7/2020 - Miranda Johnson, 22-year-old female from WOOSTER - Case No. 2020 CR-B 000025     Convicted of Failure to Comply with Opened Container or Beer or Liquor Laws, MM, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 4301.62 (B)(4).  Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a fine of $100.00.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

1/7/2020 - Jacob Skaggs, 20-year-old male from ORRVILLE - Case No. 2019 CR-B 001283     Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1).  Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 6 months and a fine of $200.00.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 20 Hours; No Contact with Dollar1.

1/7/2020 - Justin Sommers, 39-year-old male from WOOSTER - Case No. 2019 CR-B 001570     Convicted of Violating a Protection Order, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.27(A)(1).  Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 90 days and a fine of $500.00.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

1/7/2020 - Brandi Humphrey, 34-year-old female from WOOSTER - Case No. 2019 CR-B 000787     Convicted of Petty Theft, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2913.02(A)(1).  Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: a term of incarceration of 20 days and a fine of $200.00.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

1/9/2020 - Hansen W. Beasley, 33-year-old male from SMITHVILLE - Case No. 2019 CR-B 001300     Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(A)(1).  Sentenced by Judge Michael W. 1/9/2020 - Courtney Dawn Zimmerman, 24-year-old female from WOOSTER - Case No. 2019 CR-B 001337     Convicted of Criminal Trespass, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.21(A)(1).  Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a fine of $100.00.

1/9/2020 - Susan Fields, 56-year-old female from ORRVILLE - Case No. 2019 CR-B 001296     Convicted of Disorderly Conduct, M4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2917.11(A)(1).  Sentenced by Judge Michael W. Rickett to: a term of incarceration of 10 days and a fine of $150.00.  The judge ordered: Sentence stayed 14 days to screen for EMHA. Will be permitted to serve 10 days on EMHA. Credit for 2 days. Alcohol Monitor.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

1/7/2020 - Will Jc Yoho, 30-year-old male from DOYLESTOWN - Case No. 2019 CR-B 001218     Convicted of Criminal Mischief, M3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2909.07(A)(1)(a) and one additional count.  Sentenced by Judge Timothy R. VanSickle to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and a fine of $300.00.  The judge ordered: Defendant shall not use or possess alcohol or be in any places where alcohol is used DOC fine is waived.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 20 Hours; Counseling: Anger Management.
