A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio.  Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 4/11/2022 to 4/18/2022:

 

4/13/2022 - Thomas Tinney, 32-year-old male from WOOSTER - Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000271

Convicted of Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 30 days.

 

4/13/2022 - Scott Jarvis, 35-year-old male from WOOSTER - Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000427

Convicted of Trespass in a Habitation, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.12(B). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest.

 

4/13/2022 - Scott Jarvis, 34-year-old male from WOOSTER - Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000173

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 90 days.

 

4/13/2022 - Eric Lee Gilbert, 39-year-old male from Medina - Case No. 2022 CRC-I 000106

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced to: a term of incarceration of 60 days.

 

4/13/2022 - Bradlee Clark, 23-year-old male from ASHLAND - Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000253

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 2 years and a driver's license suspension for 3 years. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Forfeiture of $1586.; PRC Notification Given.

 

4/13/2022 - Brian Todd Phillips, 51-year-old male from WOOSTER - Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000487

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years.

 

4/13/2022 - Clarence Betts, 35-year-old male from WOOSTER - Case No. 2021 CRC-I 000400

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years.
