Week of 4/20/20 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio.  Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 4/20/2020 to 4/27/2020:

4/21/2020 - Traci Lucas, 32-year-old female from Orrville - Case No. 2019 CRC-I 000372     Convicted of Unlawful Transactions in Weapons, M2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2923.20(A)(7).  Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a fine of $200.00.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

4/22/2020 - Victor Keith Mullins, 33-year-old male from Rittman - Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000125     Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A).  Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 30 days.

4/22/2020 - Kenneth Swinehart, 41-year-old male from Orrville - Case No. 2019 CRC-I 000232     Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A).  Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 30 days.

4/22/2020 - David Yuhanick, 29-year-old male from WOOSTER - Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000641     Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A).  Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler.

4/22/2020 - Megan Burris, 26-year-old female from WOOSTER - Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000714     Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A).  Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 50 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Obtain GED or High School Diploma.
