Week of 5/4/20 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio.  Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 5/4/2020 to 5/11/2020:

5/6/2020 - Erron Luedtke, 39-year-old male from Litchfield - Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000315     Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A).  Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a fine of $500.00.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

5/6/2020 - Jacob Skaggs, 19-year-old male from Orrville - Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000427     Convicted of Improperly Handling Firearms In A Motor Vehicle, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2923.16(B) and one additional count.  Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year.  The judge ordered: Complete parenting classes.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 80 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department.

5/6/2020 - Eric Good, 46-year-old male from Wooster - Case No. 2019 CRC-I 000138     Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A).  Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 1 year.

5/6/2020 - Tiffany Maxwell, 35-year-old female from Orrville - Case No. 2019 CRC-I 000511     Convicted of Trafficking in a Fentanyl-Related Compound, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.03(A)(1) and one additional count.  Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 60 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Intensive Supervision Program; PRC Notification Given; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group.
