A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio.  Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 5/6/2019 to 5/13/2019: 5/7/2019:

 James Eugene Hostetler, 41-year-old male from WEST SALEM - Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000494     Convicted of Domestic Violence, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2919.25(A).  Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years.  The judge ordered: Engage in Anger Management Counseling.  Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 50 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Participate in Cognitive Behaviorial Group.

5/7/2019 - Michael Clay Stanley, 35-year-old male from Creston - Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000729     Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count.  Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 50 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Intensive Supervision Program.

5/8/2019 - William Glenn Reagan, 27-year-old male from Rittman - Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000598     Convicted of Trespass in a Habitation, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.12(B) and one additional count.  Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a fine of $500.00.  The judge ordered: No similar offenses for one year.

5/8/2019 - Stacy Stambaugh, 43-year-old female from Wooster - Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000526     Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and 2 additional counts.  Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of (with 1 year suspended) and Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years.  The judge ordered: Defendant divested of all money and gift cards.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 80 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department.

5/8/2019 - Larry Allen Spence, 49-year-old male from Wooster - Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000687     Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count.  Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.

5/8/2019 - Timothy Allen Winkleman, 38-year-old male from ORRVILLE - Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000770     Convicted of Failure to Provide Notice Of Change Of Address, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2950.05(F)(1).  Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 3 years.
