A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio.  Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 8/31/2020 to 9/7/2020:


9/2/2020 - Nicholas Roach, 30-year-old male from WOOSTER - Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000061   

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A).  Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.


9/2/2020 - Danielle Young, 30-year-old female from Orrville - Case No. 2019 CRC-I 000317    

Convicted of Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count.  Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.  The judge ordered: consider early release if she can complete cbt and Cadet.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.
