Week of 9/14/20 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio.  Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 9/14/2020 to 9/21/2020:

 

9/16/2020 - Imogene Osborne, 24-year-old female from Wooster - Case No. 2019 CRC-I 000185

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and one additional count.  Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 90 days and Community Control sanctions in the amount of 2 years.  The judge ordered: Complete CADET program Additionally the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 40 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Participate in Drug Court; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group.

Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees; Standard Terms: Obey All Laws & Probation Rules, Follow Directions of Probation Officer; Perform Community Service: 40 Hours; Random Drug Testing; Alcohol / Drug / Mental Health Counseling as Directed by Probation Department; Obtain / Maintain Gainful Employment; Participate in Drug Court; Participate in Cognitive Behavioral Group.

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs (Methamphetamine), F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 2 years, 6 months. The judge ordered: Case to run concurrent to the sentence imposed by Holmes County

 

9/16/2020 - Kosta Lupco Josefov, 60-year-old male from RITTMAN - Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000160

Convicted of Possessing Drug Abuse Instruments, M1, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.12(A). Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler.

 

9/16/2020 - Jesse Rowe, 39-year-old male from WOOSTER - Case No. 2020 CRC-I 000292

Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs(Methamphetamine), F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A). Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a fine of $200.00. Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Court Costs / Probation Fees.

Convicted of Robbery, F2, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.02(A)(1) and one additional count. Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 6 years, Community Control sanctions in the amount of 1 year and Post Release Control in the amount of 6 years.
