Week of 9/2/19 Criminal Felony Convictions:

A criminal defendant has to have been sentenced before he or she is considered “convicted” of a criminal offense in the State of Ohio.  Below are the felony convictions that took place in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court for 9/2/2019 to 9/9/2019:

9/4/2019 - Mark Belt, 37-year-old male from Millersburg - Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000639     Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A).  Sentenced by Judge Corey E. Spitler to: a term of incarceration of 6 months.

9/4/2019 - Joshua Motich, 34-year-old male from Wooster - Case No. 2019 CRC-I 000281     Convicted of Burglary, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2911.12(A)(3).  Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 3 years.  The judge ordered: 154 days jail time credit.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: Pay Restitution: $610.; PRC Notification Given.

9/4/2019 - Joshua Motich, 34-year-old male from Wooster - Case No. 2019 CRC-I 000315     Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A).  Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 1 year.  The judge ordered: 154 days jail time credit.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: PRC Notification Given.

9/4/2019 - Joshua Motich, 34-year-old male from Wooster - Case No. 2019 CRC-I 000184     Convicted of Aggravated Possession of Drugs, F5, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2925.11(A) and 2 additional counts.  Sentenced by Judge Mark K. Wiest to: a term of incarceration of 1 year.  The judge ordered: 154 days’ jail time credit.  Additionally, the following conditions were imposed: PRC Notification Given.

9/4/2019 - Aaron Matheny, 26-year-old male from Wooster - Case No. 2019 CRC-I 000285     Convicted of Having Weapons While Under Disability, F3, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2923.13(A)(3).  Sentenced by Judge Mark K. 9/4/2019 - Amber Heath, 29-year-old female from Dalton - Case No. 2018 CRC-I 000327     Convicted of Attempted Tampering with Evidence, F4, in violation of Ohio Revised Code 2923.02 / 2921.12(A)(1) and one additional count.  Sentenced by Judge Mark K.
